Our Team

We're a small organization. And truthfully, Conversations With Dogs is really a pet project of ours... Sorry, I couldn't help that. There are those of us below on this project, and the occasional contractor that helps us with a few tasks.

David & Charlsa Perdew

Long-time dog lovers, David and Charlsa own two rescue dogs. Luann is a 15-year old husky, German shepherd mix (maybe). And Lila is a 9-year old hound, pit bull mix.

Jen Perdew Houlk & Rick Houlk

A dog lover and local patsy for anyone who wants to find a dog a home, Jen and her husband have fostered 7 dogs. 4 of which found their forever homes...you guessed it...at their house.

Currently Jen & Rick have Jack and Maggie who have lived with them for 9+ years and a cat named Cricket who's only job in life is to tease and torment Jack and Maggie.
